They are great for cooling things down.

They're cold and hard, until they melt, then they're cool and wet for a while, then they are just wet. ;-)

They are a necessity if you want iced tea, or a nice drink on the rocks. A White Russian or even a rum and coke without ice cubes - barbaric!

I was in Europe a week ago, and I couldn't wait to get back to the US so I could have ice in my soda. LOL LOVE 'em.

I don't use them much. I've read that they can cause diarrhea.
