  • It took me 20 min. in the waiting room and once I got in the back I had an IV in with demoral in 5 minutes (it was wonderful).. It took 2 hours to have x rays and another 2 hours later for results and to discharge me.. 4 1/2 hours..total.. but I was the only patient in there when I first got there. Lucky me. They had 20 free rooms and they stuck me in a room with a old women who just happened to NOT be sedated. for 3 hours i listened to her and her friend talk and talk and talk like they were the only ones around.. They started from birth expereince and went thru that night experience.. all while I am dieing for sleep because I have had demoral.. Despite the fact that she heard me tell the nurse that I couldn't rest because she would not shut up, she just kept talking.. Where is a good steel bed pan when you need one?
  • The first time I went was my senior year in high school and I waited 30 min while my mom had to fill out paperwork while I was in excruciating pain and vomiting everywhere...kidney stones are a blast! Then I waited another 20 min for a nurse and pain killers...which didn't work...then I had to wait another hour before I got the good stuff. My nurse was excellent...the Doctor was the creep who took forever. I don't even want to know what it would be like on a busy day...at 2am in the morning...
