Can anyone Translate the Hebrew thats on the scroll that the woman is holding on the CD cover of Avenged Sevenfold's "Waking The Fallen"?

It appears to be Hebrew letters, but other than the top word it doesn't appear to be words and if it does, it doesn't appear as if it was someone who knew how to write properly, because a few of the letters aren't clear enough to tell which character they are supposed to be. I can't tell if they meant to put a resh, a daled or even a rashi aleph. The first word appears to be sippur (story) but could just as easily be safech, which means nothing. I can't tell if it's a resh or a khet sofi. It's just not clearly written.
