Basic stuff from studying not because they taught me anything in the Army other than how to mop a floor and hide from doing mundane extra duty like picking up people's cigarette butts. It's about technique and coordination with others in your group. Most of it is common sense. Like going up a stair case or entering a room. Never go high, always crouch or crawl, watch for boobie traps...basic stuff. Never ever point your weapon into the back of the guy in front of you!!!!!!! I see that all the time in the movies and on TV programs...LOL...I have even seen real SWAT teams do it. Everybody points there weapon in kind of a 360 degree pattern. It makes sure of 2 things, your covering all areas and you take away the risk of shooting the guy in front of you, it has happened many times!!!

First, coordination before hand is huge. Everybody needs to know their sector. Your sector is yours to clear, don't get sucked into the target in somebody else's, until that person goes down. Which means you have to know everybody else's sector too. Go in fast, you want max firepower in the room in minimum time. When you bust in, alternate sides of the door you go to. Keep an eye out for IED's.
