Hey dont use so many random things! A Raw potatoe is good shredded or just wash LOADS of dishes once the chilli oil comes of your skin should be fine!

Yeah, for future reference to anyone looking for an answer to this question - it's the oil from the peppers that makes your fingers burn. (That's also what makes your mouth burn when you eat it, by the way.) As Broody said, wash lots of dishes. If your mouth is burning, eat some bread - it will soak up the oils.

For next time, you could also try putting on rubber gloves or just putting your hands in plastic baggies first. Glad it got better finally. :)

Soak your fingers in an antacid. Preferably Mylanta. Also, invest in some surgical gloves if you are going to do this. Prevention is a wonderful thing.

Don't touch your eyes or any other part of your body. Wash it off with soap, it will go away. Next time you should wear gloves...I learned the hard way

my friend i too have burning hands. try this my friend it will cool the burning. one quarter cup of baby shampoo or mild shampoo and quarter cup of sugar.wash hands several times with mixture and use cold water to rinse. this really works. trust me i have used it lots
