It depends, if the kid had a gun then yes. If he was trying to hurt one of my family members, then yes. If he was just a punk stealing stuff, I'd go and catch him and turn him in. Or find out who his parents are, and have a talk with them. So it all depends...

If he was threatening my or someone else's life then yes. If not, I wouldn't.

I am partially disabled. If ANYONE breaks into my house, I HAVE to assume they are there to harm my family. Yes, I will do whatever is necessary to protect my family!

I would detain him and call the police.

I wouldn't ever kill a burglar, unless he or she was a serious threat to my or my friends' life. Retain him or her until police arrive. I do have some handcuffs.
