  • Honestly I think it's bullshit. I mean, he's already been held by the CIA for years until the trial proceedings started. And he's just a driver. It's not like he was one of the top guys that planned 9/11 lol. Sure he drove around Bin Laden, but that was it. Being held for such a long time by the government, I think he should just be released. It's bullshit. The poor fellow just wanted to make some money by a non-violent way unlike the Taliban he was with.
  • What was he arrested for? Just being his driver? if thats the case they should let him go! He drove a bloody car nothing more... If he was part of the whole plot and planned to kill hundreds of people then fair enough, but being imprisoned for doing a perfectly legal job is really wrong.
  • Ignore. This was meant to be a comment. What do you mean "however unwitting." You can't unwittingly be involved in a conspiracy. You must agree to assist in the criminal endeavor to be co-conspirator. And the law makes perfect sense. Should the person who got the illegal passports for the 9/11 attacks face less punishment than the people who crashed the planes (had they survived)? Of course not. Even though their role was minor in the overall scheme, they are equally culpable for the attacks as all others.
