I wanted Scooby-Doo. Never got a dog. Instead I have a cat, but when I close my eyes and pretend real hard, she becomes Scooby-Doo for a short time.

A Persian cat, and yes I got one as soon as I moved out.

When I was growing up I really wanted A newfoundland dog. I had a huge lab but it wasn't the same and my parents weren't into buying pedigreed animals at the time. But when I got married and we started hiking, we decided to try newfs and never looked back. Since falling in love with them, those are the only kind of dogs we've had. And at times we've had 4 of them! lol!!

I had all my desired pets (dogs, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, a rooster, ducks, rabbits, pigeons, etc) when young. I am desiring to have a pig and rabbits again. My 2 cents.

I always wanted a cat, I begged and begged for years and years! And then when I moved to college I got one. Then I found out why my parents never wanted me to have one. LOL no offense to cat people, its just not my thing. Only I was too young to know it when I was begging for a kitty! ;)
