It's new to me aswell. I like it overall, but I think the point system is to competitive, but other than that, it's good enough.

I'm still getting used to this new version. But so far I'm not a fan. I agree with RFlagg. This new site places too much importance on ratings and points and levels. Before it was just about sharing knowledge and experience. Now it seems to be about giving the best answers to get the highest points to recieve the 'expert' rating.

I am neutral. The web page is only the medium used for the knowledge transmission. It's not important and in this world, the only true constant, is change.

Yes, definitely. It is better orgranized now. We can rate questions as well as answers. We can correct the category where an question is placed We can put longer comments and the page will not reload after you add a comment. I think those guys did a good job.

I liked the old version more. Although I must admit that the new system is better in many ways, the ability to flag inappropriate content is certainly one we needed, and it's a fair bit better organised and a lot easier to check through with the new activity pages in the uder profiles. I'm not especially fond of the points system, though.

I never saw the old version. I like this version very much. In the short time I've been here I've definitely seen it evolve slightly. I think how it evolves is totally up to us, the (current) community.

I wasn't here for the transition. I'm sure it was fine though. I think I'd like it better this way though. I'm used to the system.

i vaguely remember the old version...the one thing i noticed was the lack of avatars..since then, after joining AB, the new version is much more refreshing to look at...the old version was simply lacking character..-IMHO.

The design of the new version is not so nice... However, the features on the new version are much better! There will naturally be teething problems, give it a few days to settle in. :-)

At this stage, I'm not doing very well with the new version. I don't know if the difficulties I am experiencing are due to the fact that I have ADD, but, it's hard for me to focus on the site. I can't concentrate very well. Everything seems .. BIG. Of course, I'll give a few days to get used to and hopefully it'll become a little easier to use by then. Some of the new features are great, definitely. Lots of positives mixed in there, too :)

It looks fancy and i think it took a looooooot of work, therefore it gets my respect. Personally i get lost a lot, but i will give it a few days. Besides, getting lost is fun too sometimes: you get to go to places where you normally would not have been.

I think sometimes it's difficult to get used to something being changed, when we've become familiar with them for a while. I think that after a period of time, we can get used to the new appearance, layout, etc. I'll probably get to like it more as time goes on.

Well, It takes me a long time to get use to the last one but this one will take a bit longer but whatever, change is good.

Nobody likes change. We are all used to the old AB, and want to hang on to it the same way we did our baby blankets. The new version is better organized and easier to navigate (plus it doesn't open all of the extra windows). I don't like it right now, but I guarantee I'll like it better than the old one by the end of the day.

The old one was much esier to use, it was simple, and that was good. This one is too clean and wierd and dunno and the way that the unanswered questiones are sorted by rank? is there anyway to change that? As someone else said there was nothing wrong with it and no one was moaning so there was no need to change it.

The new features are nice, but that means didly since the rating doesn't work in Firefox, which is clearly an exceptionally better web browser.

I like the new one. It has a lot more options, and is more aesthetically pleasing. I find it more function able.

I know it sounds strange but i am not so sure it has the addictivr quality of the last version. Maybe because it is new and being a ditz, I find it all confusing , also my profile has not caught up yet. If that ever happens or I get a reply from admin. it may help.

No, I don't. I can't get to respond when I want to point up, and I find it hard to read because the information goes off the page. Also, there's still no spell check which we all agreed it needed. I do like the fact we can flag offensive content in answers and comments now. And I like the Avatars next to the comments. Makes it easier to recognize who you're talking to. I just liked the way it looked before. Much more user friendly.

On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 7. The new features are cool, but the advertisements seem to be a little much. They're a "necessary evil" I imagine though.

It seems to me that the more users there, the more drama there is, but I still enjoy most of my activity here. The level of oversight has shrunk to trying to keep spammers off, and little else. I think the CL's have their work cut out for them.
