Actually getting penetrated deep enough doesn't have much to do with it. The hymen is at the entrance to the vaginal canal. It can be broken from tampons, dildos, fingering, strenuous athletic activity, etc. Some women are born without them or with barely having one. I didn't bleed and I was penetrated by an 8 incher.
