  • im going to answer yes, even though ive done that
  • It GREATLY depends on the maturity of the people doing it. It can get lame or just AWESOME.
  • Yes. Its weird. But its not impossible! =D
  • Don't know never did it. Does it work?
  • No. It has become a meeting place for many people just as clubs and pubs were meeting places. Times change thats all. When all is said and done you need to meet them for real eventually and then you will know if something is really there or not. If not you may at least have made a new friend.
  • No i can't see how that would be any more weird than meeting someone off the street or at a club, sports event, church or anywhere else. All people are strangers until we meet them :)
  • Not really. It can't be helped, if you live in a place where desireable people are few and far between.
  • Well...I suggest that it is better if it is a secure site where you have to pay to belong and where you contact, or are contacted, via the site not directly. I did this. Met several really nice men whom I dated more than once. Met some duds, No weirdos though. Finally met a gresat guy, dated for 2 years and we have now been married three years this month. Use common sense......take your time....and don't get ahead of yourself with fantasyland stuff.
  • It is not something I would ever do but I suppose it might work for some.
  • no it brought me to you.:-)
  • I certainly don't. IMO, meeting in person is the only way that a relationship that began online can be fulfilled, at least for me.
  • I did....until I was fool enough to do it myself. Mind you I am a bit strange anyway at he best of times lol. Cheers
  • Nope, i met my current fiancee of the internet a year ago :3 He lives in England and i live in America Ive been twice, once on a visa. And hes coming her for Christmas <3
  • Solid relationships have come out of weirder situations...
  • No. When you consider how much we rely on the internet nowadays for communication and "socialization", and the fact that globalization is overtaking the world at an exponentially increasing pace, it makes sense that people will start using this new form of communication and information to find love interests.
  • Not weird since it's so common, but I think it's ridiculous. The internet is not the real world. It is completely unromantic to me to meet someone on the internet. I would never date someone off the web. It just ruins the whole magic of meeting someone randomly.
  • It can be. But I think it wouldn't be weird if it became a habit. Then, it would be commonplace in ones life. I have a friend who married a guy she met online and they are fabulous together.
