I've always gotten along with my mom. My dad is deceased, but when he was alive it was a rollercoaster. We either got along really well or we hated each other on and off.

My father past away many years ago, I talk to my mother now and then but she is what I term a toxic person so I make sure the contact is few and far between.

I am very lucky that I get along with both my parents.

Except for that short period of time of insanity where I was sure I knew more that anyone else in the world, we got along just great.

I get along with my Mom, but my dad we don't get along at all most of the time. So now I just keep my distance. I wish we could get along with him but he makes it impossible.

My dad and I got along great..the mother and I had a mutual hate relationship..they are both dead now. :)
