  • they/ We all have our own unique scent yea it sounds wierd but its true :)
  • they plant microchips in your legs and scan you. As for other animals, by pictures they've seen in magazines.
  • Most animals use a sense of smell far more sensitive than ours. Cats for example, whenever they rub against you, are scenting you, i.e.rubbing some of their scent against you to mark you as 'theirs'. They also do this when scratching surfaces (they have scent glands between the claws) and when they allow you to stroke them. However, many have good senses of hearing and may recognise the particular pitch and tone of an individuals voice. We call our cat into the house at night and he comes running (though sometimes needs tepting with meat!). However it is not the word itslef that he recognises, but the sound of the person's voice. He can recognise vocal sounds as distinct words though - if I call Monty he responds if dozing nearby, but if I call someone else he doesn't. So although he doesn't understand the word as a human would, as in it is his name, he does recognise the sound as to be assosciated with him, which basically is what we do when we hear our names called.
  • they can reconize your voice
  • look at it this way ... if you were sitting in a car , wating for your mom to come out of a store ... wouldnt you kno it was her ? same thing with a dog .. they can see too you know , haha, they do have eyes. and after looking at you for awhile.. iim pretty sure they can remember who you are , as for the question, how do animals reconise other animals.. no two animals have the same toned voices , like humans , so again as an example .. if your mom was bilingual , but you werent . and after hearing her talk english for awile , even if she spoke another language you would still kno it was her right ? i hope my examples help you understand ,
