Evolution is not caused by cellular division. Growth, yes.
So we can grow, heal, and evolve.
Cell division = mutations = EVOLUTION.
Because it allows cells to duplicate and multiply so we can live, if we ran out of cells our bodies could not function anymore. The only cells in the human body that do not undergo division are cells in the spinal cord nd such, so that is why once you are paralyzed it is so difficult to be repaired, because the cells don't repair themselves, they don't duplicate to allow for healing.
