• I wanted to find out if it was computer enhanced in some way, so I recorded it onto another program and slowed it down by 75% and then counted each of the notes because I'd never heard the human voice do that. Turns out it's actually her singing. I sure would love to get a hold of her vocal coach and ask for some tips. ;)

• ALl these were good performers and for the most part could sing well enough to be liked, but none of the above compare with Aretha as a singer. They dont bring versatility.

• I can't resist posting it. I'm listening to these 2 songs over and over, thank you BB for being the one who let me know of her, some of the piano parts is like Bach, which now reminds me, have you heard of The Swingle Singers? They do amazing accapella work with Bach tunes.

• Impossible, best is always subjective and would have nothing to substantiate it but an opinion of someone's taste in music. So one person's best might be Merle Haggard and another's Pavarotti.
