  • God never said getting off is a sin. Even Jesus never brought up the subject. If you sleep with your neighbors wife that is a sin, but hands to yourself, its alright!
  • Not unless it gets to the point where it keeps you from providing your spouse the sexual attention they need.
  • The challenge is, what is the root of the sin? Lust is a sin... Most people lust while masturbating. Lust is a sin. Can one masturbate without lust? Potentially. I lead a weekly men's group, Lust Free Living - www.lustfreeliving.org. In this material, it discusses masturbating without lust. We have to remember that masturbation may only be a symptom of the sin, which is lust.

  • Hi. I am a Christian single lady and I do masturbate. Why would God create us biologically to feel pleasure? To threw it away, no I believe it is a God's given pleasure. And, what is bet to sleep around or to masturbate? I guess God knew when he created us, that we needed that in order to avoid sleeping around. So do not be ashamed, there are lots of Christians who cannot say ir or stay without masturbating. You are still a child of God. God bless you all Sonia
  • OK ... I am a Christian ... and listen to how I answer this question. An orgasm is a release of stress. Your erection is the way you can have an orgasm. God gave you your erection. Why would he not want you to use it ? Releasing stress by way of having an orgasm ... is way better than smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol ... or doing drugs. Smoking cigarettes damages your lungs, drinking alcohol destroys brain cells ... and doing drugs kills everything. Having an orgasm does not do any damage.
  • I am Christian lady although might think otherwise. But I masturbate as well. I dont find it a sin and my reading and prayers have not led me to believe it is a sin. However, it is also not foreverone either. That where your choice comes into play.My parents, grandparents and even great grandparents taught me and all my sisters it not a sin but a personal choice. If you are comfortable with it then go ahead and do it, if not then dont. You will get alot mix responses but you must pray to God ask is masturbation for you and wait for the answer. Now if you do it to point that effect your life and physically health then yes that a problem. But pray for yourself and wait on the Lord and by the way if you are already masturbating, you may already have your answer.
