Well, "Super" Wal Marts are too far from us at the moment, although they are expanding the Wal Mart by my mom into one that will open in a couple months. All the Krogers closed around here years ago, and we don't have any Safeways. There's a big local chain in the midwest called Schnucks, and then there's Shop 'n Save. We also have been shopping more at Aldi lately.

I go to a store called meijers here in Michigan it is a big chain up here it is walmart competitor or i shop the local store it is close less driving;)

Here in this area of Puerto Rico I have five Supermarkets to choose from. Four of them are local chains that cover the whole Island. (Amigo, Selectos, Econo and Pitusa) One is part of a chain of CO-OP Supermarkets.

I live in a major northeastern city so I don't have any of those available to me. Actually there in Genuardi's which is owned by Safeway I believe but I never shop there as there are none in the City of Philadelphia. They are all in Southern New Jersey or the suburbs of Philly. I usually shop either at Pathmark or Shoprite. Sometimes if they have a good sale I will shop at Acme which is owned by Albertson's
