I've just watched season 3 on dvd, so am unclear on the exact nature of your question..but warmed up to Shane in general in season 3

OMG I watched it. Are we talking about the one where he sets up shop in the cheese place or when he babysits? I think that everything that he's been going through lately (trying very hard here not to add spoilers) compounded with the last couple seasons have made him more mature than most kids his age. I'm a little disappointed that Nancy won't force him to go to school, since he's obviously a fast learner and could probably easily graduate with honors. I think that he's had a lot of responsibility put on him since his father's death and it's making him a pretty strong person. And I think he's looking for a woman to substitute his mother.
