    My wife of many years is my best friend because she's
    been loyal all those years and she's a good momto the kids, plus
    a well loved grandma.

    She's the best cook in the world besides and she takes good care of
    this crusty reprobate. Amazingly, she hasn't done me in----yet!

    My best friend (sigh, stupid-sounding but true) is my husband.

    And he's my best friend BECAUSE of the qualities he has. Primarily, I was walking around in a funk until I met him. I am my family's outcast, despite being my mother's most "successful" child. It never made sense to me, but he helped me analyze all the history between me and my mother and let me know it wasn't my fault.

    So (oops...I forgot your question...) re quality: "analytical."

    Michael is my best friend. No matter disconnected we are by time or milage, we always seem to pick up without problems. We enjoy almost all the same things. I particularly like that he doesn't treat me or expect a stereotype. He's honest when I need to be critiqued and he expects the same. Most of all, we have saved each other from getting arrested, being killed, and bad relationships.

    That reminds me... I need to call him...

    My best friend of nearly 16 years and now my boyfriend is my closest dearest friend as well. Reason being, I can be myself and he accepts and loves me for who I am, unconditionally. I can tell him anything and everything, without fearing he might tell someone else. I trust him 100% in every way. He is honest, kind, funny, and tolerant. I am sort of a type A personality and he is laid back and listens to me ramble, BUT he really listens and remembers everything I say. That is what makes him my best friend ever..

    My best friend and me are like sisters we went through so much together we're so close people think we're a gay couple!. We went camping stayed up all night giggling and gossiping and starting new inside jokes we got millions!. She's my safety blanket she's there when Im in tears and there to hold me and let me cry until her shirt is soaked with my tears she also makes me laugh with the stupidest little things only we get. I got two other best friends who are like my wing women I love them too! The four of us are like four peas in a pod!

    I don't have a best friend, they make things so much more complicated! The jealousy, the back stabbing, the wanting to know every single little bloody thing about you? No thanks! But in my friends, I appreciate their craziness and them being friendly (most of the time). Really, I appreciate the fact they put up with me all day!

    i have about 5 best friends lol. i couldnt decide which one was the best. i love them all because they all have a great sence of humor. we can make a funny situation out of anything bad. like once we got stuck out on a balcony in the summer (2 story house) it was really hott! lol but we had fun and still laugh about it today. and its nice that they are honest and trust worthy.. i love them also becausee they have the same likes and dislikes as me! and stuff like that. but i really like that they are very comfortable around me and not afraid to embaress themselves and then can laugh about it later.

    o and not to mentionn thatt even if they dont like each other we still will all hang out *most of the time*

    i do have a best friend we grew up together and been around each other all of our lives. in a best friend i look for someone who is honest, and will be there till the end of time no matter what happens and wont let a guy ruine our friendship.
