Eucalyptus or peppermint essential oil on the temples and forehead. It's a miracle!

Rosemary oil on the temples is also helpful. I use a sock filled with 1.5 cups of rice, placed in microwave to warm for 2 mins. Wrap it in a towel and lay on it (for me, it's the neck) and try to get comfortable for 15-30 mins, repeating. Because I ran out of rosemary oil, I cut 3-5 stems from the plant on my doorstep, crush in my fist and place in the sock so that the rosemary fragrance can do its work. Taking a nap always does the trick for me. "willing it away" has worked in the past, when it wasn't a migraine.

Put on something comfortable, fluff up your pillows on your bed, think good thoughts, get a nice cool cloth, lay down, put this over your eyes. Now relax, think about a giant tree with a rope swing, your swinging back and forth....................EASSSSSSY Try to lay there for at least 1/2 an hr!
