Response from Rob Shiram and Roger McNamee, Both Leading Entrepreneurs in the Internet Business:

Roger: You won’t find any shortage of capital if that’s what you need. The market at the moment in terms of market formation and new funds that have raised money outside the bubble period it’s the highest it’s ever been. I’d be very surprised if any idea doesn’t get funded at this time. It’s not a bubble, but it’s frothy, so I’d be very surprised if that’s not an issue for you.
It’s not my experience it’s that easy, and we went to some VCs early on, and they said it was too early, so finally we got frustrated and decided to start getting it rolling. We have a very good technology which NASA is using, and get the money.

Rob: You want to maintain a large share, do a lot of development before you present it. It may be that you presented it wrong or the guy you were talking to was getting a divorce. This isn’t easy, it is hard work. If that's not exciting to you, you should be doing something else. If you have an idea you’re so passionate about you can’t think about anything else, then do that. It’s not for lightweights.
