nope its all mother knows best and i agree my mum knows everything!

I believe that the last member of such a family in my area passed away during the 1990s.

I think a lot of Asian families still have a Father Knows best policy. It is not prevelant in western society anymore.

No. It is not a rarity. I my ex boyfriend is from the Middle East and he is already "Oldest son knows best." He is in charge of his entire family. He was like that in our relationship. He even said, "I am always right." Well, such was always thus and always thus shall be. They do exist.
