Is setting up a LLC or a Corporation better for a start-up consulting business?

There is no reason to do either unless you are worried about liabilities you might have. A sole proprietorship will do just fine with your social security number as your tax id number. But to answer your question the LLC is much easier to start and alittle less costly to file. i-mentor@hotmail.com
