I think you find a lot of moustaches in any profession. It's a sign of masculinity, and since law enforcement is traditionally a male occupation with more men than women, proportionately you WOULD find more moustaches, since men, not women, wear moustaches. (although some do) Lol.

Checks the police series on TV you will see they all have them including the firemen, it must be something to look manly. Regards.

Being in uniform all day, they need something to distinguish themselves and be different. Unfortunately for them, so many cops have them that it has almost become a part of the uniform.

Because they are not allowed to grow any other hair long. Another good question is why do so many grow moustaches, but shave their heads....

I'm trying to find questions of yours to answer but they're all about politics, this is the only one I fount that isn't lol. And I still can't answer it, really. I don't know, maybe moustaches represent authority in some way or another. That's what moustaches remind me of anyway, it gives like a dominant and even superior allure to a man, sometimes good, more often than not bad. XD

Why do so many cops have moustaches? Probably because there are so many lesbian cops. 'Nuff said...
