  • yeah it is. but i do the same thing. it works! i guess if its not every night its not so bad
  • When you say sugar, do you mean "sugar" or stuff like chocolate and candy? I usually have a mug of tea and a few biscuits or some chocolate after my meal at night. It helps me sleep, so if there`s a problem with it, I do it too.
  • Seems like it's better than being addicted to AmBien.
  • It is not the best. In fact, I advise against it. Calcium, as in milk, is best to help with sleep. I try to avoid the commercial "sleep aids" as much as possible. Have you tried kava? It is an herbal relaxer. It helps me a lot when I can't get relaxed enough to sleep.

  • Try reading or watching a movie that works for me,most of the time.
  • that may be unhealthy but it works but will it allow you to sleep the entire night or will you be up after a few hours and unable to go back to sleep
  • I take melatonin. Natural and puts me to sleep in 20 minutes. Works everytime and I've been taking it for about 8 years, and no harm at all to me!
  • Yeah, you know it is...all that sugar flooding your system, spiking your insulin levels (ruining your insulin receptors)...converting the sugar to body fat. Not good at all. Better to at least throw some protein in to slow the absorption.
