Painful cure. But better than either is good prevention!

... painful cure ... anything that actually addresses the cause, rather than just the symptoms, will be far better ... a pain reliever, although good for the patient's mind, does nothing for what is causing the pain.

Painful cure. Pain reliever just takes away the feeling of pain, but doesn't really address the problem.
