I went to a Laurell K. Hamilton book signing once; it was a lot of fun (although very crowded). I happened to be wearing a t-shirt from the Renaissance Faire I was in at the time, and she recognized it, so that was cool. There was one slightly wierd thing about it, though: a couple had decided to dress up as a pair of characters, which added up to a pair of really awful vampire costumes! Cheesy Halloween capes, plastic fangs, caked on white makeup... Odd. Very odd.

I went to an Oliver Sacks book signing and reading at the Seattle Central Library. I loved it and I got the back of my notebook signed by him.
