  • I got my glasses in second or thrid grade, it may have been between the grades which is why I can't remember. I have to wear them for everything...reading up close, seeing things far away. Without them I see things without a blur only if they're a foot & a half from my face or closer. After that, its all fuzzy.
  • i got my first pair when I was 12. The doctor never told me to wear them all the time. I came home from the optical shop wearing them. My mom complimented me on them and something snapped. I burst into tears and went to my room and put them away. When I was 19, a boyfriend noticed how much I squinted and persuaded me to get a new pair. Quite soon I was wearing them all the time, and i became used to them relatively quickly. I have always wished I had worn them all the time when I was a teenager. I missed so much by being vain.
