Silent Snow, Secret Snow....takes you into the mind of a person going insane and how normal he appears on the outside. Written with amazing sensitivity to the character.

The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allen Poe. I didn't like it. Brilliantly written, yes, but so disturbing.... Oh, and Hopscotch, too. That story made me squirm. (Poe again. He never fails)

Damon Knight's "To Serve Man". It has some ETs coming to Earth and helping humans in many ways. One scientists finds a book owned by an ET whose title he translates as "How To Serve Man". He translates the entire book and realizes it is a cookbook.
