It's hard to believe I don't, given the helpful, even amazing offers I get (see below) but except for taking this screenshot, I never look in my spam folder. It's a shame I forget about it, really. My life could be so much better, so fast "sigh"

I check my spam folder and sometimes find that something that is not spam has fallen into that folder. But, I don't risk opening spam email. It gets deleted.
-
some times, as some times innocent mail goes to junk mail folder, just check to be sure.
-
I glance over it, to see if something important got sent there instead of my regular inbox..
-
naaa I barely have toime to check over the stuff in my inbox

No, once I get a spam email, and do not recognize the name, I delete them. Never open a spam email, that lets the sender know that your address is live, and you will get many more spam emails.

This is a set of rules I made of for my senior customers and have since given out to many others as its just good rules for anyone to think about. RULES FOR E-MAIL 1. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SENDER, PUT A CHECK MARK IN BOX AND MARK AS SPAM AND DELETE 2. IF THERE IS NOTHING IN THE SUBJECT AREA, AGAIN PUT A CHECK MARK IN THE BOX AND MARK AS SPAM AND DELETE. 3. IF YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL AND THE MESSAGE AREA THE IS ONLY AN ATTACHMENT, AGAIN CHECK MARK IN THE BOX AND MARK AS SPAM AND DELETE. 4.HOW TO STOP RECEIVING THOSE FW TYPE E-MAILS - The best Way is to mark these type of e-mails as spam as they come in, there for they Cannot be sent again. If someone asks why he or she can’t e-mail you tell him or her, You got tried of poor taste e-mails and/or you prefer not to receive these And this is your way of stopping them. BESIDES THEY FACT THAT MANY FW TYPE E-MAILS CONTAIN VIRUS AND THIS WILL HELP PROTECT YOU SYSTEM. Also set the amount of time for message to stay in box for short time, or no time If you prefer. 5. TELL FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SET UP PASSWORD TO PUT IN SUBJECT LINE, THIS WAY YOU WILL KNOW WHICH E-MAIL ARE SAFE TO OPEN AND WHICH TO JUST DELETE. (Make it simple like Hello and then use a special nickname only they know) 6. STAY FROM ANSWERING SURVEYS AS THEY CAUSE YOU TO GET SPAM. (These sites will sell your information once they have it) also when join a site like Amazon it will say would like our newsletter or letter on specials beware some sites sell these e-mail address and that is how you start get junk, so my not want to check the box that says yes I’ll except newsletter etc, 7. Look on under part of your e-mail options (for example Yahoo is in the upper right and says mail options) there you will find an item that will say Block address’s. You can add e-mail address to it and they will be blocked at once, you always have choice to go back and take them off list if you wish. 8. If you do choose to check Spam folder, as some times an innocent e-mail gets put here by accident. Never open e-mails unless you’re sure they are from someone you know, usually I put a check mark in the box a move them back to inbox before opening as a general rule. Other wise either delete the rest of them or let your spam filter deal with them for you. THESE ARE THE MOST COMMON WAYS FOR SPAMMERS TO SEND VIRUS AND SPYWARE THOUGH THE E-MAIL SYSTEM. ANOTHER THING IS IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, CHANCES ARE IT IS! MARK AS SPAM AND DELETE. THERE IS A WEB SITE THAT YOU CAN CHECK OUT MOST E-MAILS THAT KEEP SHOWING UP OVER AND OVER TO SEE IF THEY ARE TRUE. http://www.snopes.com also called the urban legends site.

If I'm expecting an email from someone new, sometimes I'll browse down the sender list to make sure it didn't get bumped into the spam folder.
-
I think I have to now. It seems some very important emails go to my spam folder. I wonder why.
-
i try to use my eyes to the best of my advantage because............. well hell that's why they're there right good question by the way

Usually I just delete it. I get like 30 spam mails a day, and they all go to the junk folder really fast.
