  • I think that they're probably somewhat malnourished. I've never really looked into doing it, so I might be way off
  • Being a vegan is a personal choice, I have nothing agaist vegan adults. What I do have a problem with is parents bringing up their children as vegans. As children need different quantities of nutrients to grow and develop properly, I just don't see it right to do that to a child. And no, even if they give their children suplements - they should be getting the nutrients from the real thing.
  • Judging from sites like Post Punk Kitchen and That Vegan Shit, they're quite inventive. I like the recipes...
  • I couldn't eat a whole one.
  • i understand vegetarians not wanting animals to die for food. but i don't fully understand vegans. it doesn't hurt cows to be milked. and an egg is not an aborted chicken fetus, there was never a life inside of it. so i don't see why one wouldn't drink milk or eat eggs.
  • i wanna hang with one
  • I don't go against it. I understand their philosphy and the reason why they chose to be vegans.
  • I think they are entitled to eat whatever they want, and dislike meat etc. But if you start telling me what to eat or acting all "holier than thou", I'm going to shove my fork in your eye.
  • Whatever floats their boat. As long as they don't wrinkle their nose, or make snide comments about the meat I'm eating, I could care less. Of course, if they DO bother me like that, I will tell them I used to be a meat cutter, and describe some of the things we used to cut, from what, etc., until they decide I'm too much for them to handle. ;-)
  • I dont know how they do it. Or how they stay satisfied everyday but i guess if you do it long enough you get used to it. I could never be a vegan or vegeterian, everything tastes so good, im a food lover and also love my meat :P
  • I think it a good choice to be a vegan, because most vegans live longer than normal meat-eaters and a life of better quality.
  • They are responsible people who need fewer land and labor resources to meet their nutritonal needs. It takes much more land and labor to feed animals then prepare the animals for human consumption than to use the land to feed people directly and take the animals out of the production process. --- They also don't give their money to people who do this:
  • I admire the hell out of them.
  • Live and let live. More New York Strip for me.
  • It makes me laugh. Animals are great, but Humans are not full herbivores. We need meat to live, and vegans are just killing themselves.
  • Dont get me started..
  • I don't. I don't care what people eat. Why do you?
  • sensitive whiney little pussies with a chip on their shoulder who are bitter at life and everyone in it, very preachy too, why the fuck you think we have incisors in our mouths? but i mean dairy and eggs too? come on, get a grip
  • none of my business :)
  • i am more concerned about how i am treated by someone than the label they call their-self. i don't much care what you eat, where you worship or don't worship, who you kiss, all that has no bearing on manners or respect.
  • i dont feel anything for vegans
  • A good friend is a vegan and he wants everyone to be one but I'm not
  • I'm ok with vegans. As an omnivore, I can partially relate with them. I think Vegans are good because a lot of the animals I eat are also vegetarians. So when the human population becomes too large and the animal population is gone and some catastrophic event happens and we all (but the vegans) turn to cannibalism I will have someone to eat...and wear jk
  • I could not care less about their dietary choices. Do what they want. The only time I really even think about it is if I am with a vegan friend or if a vegan decides to berate me for being a meat eater... or in questions like this. If I am with a vegan friend I will not eat meat in front of them and if a vegan is rude to me about eating meat, I laugh at them or ignore them... depends on my mood. Manners are manners and I do not care who a person is. Bad manners, for any reason, are subject to either my ignore or mocking.
  • Kinda gamey, some salt & garlic and they make a good soup - but serve with a nice aged cheese & wine
  • I admire vegans that eat a healthy vegan diet (there are unhealthy vegan diets) because they will not have cardiovascular disease or Type II diabetes unless they remain overweight. Now, I don't like PETA types. PETA believes that all domesticated dogs and cats should be slaughtered.
  • they have really strong willpower...even if I happen to think it's misguided.
