Is this a cultural difference in naming convention or do you mean a triple pirouette, finishing in 4th position? (In all my years of ballet I never heard of a twist.) I used to be able to triple, but it's been years...I know I can still double though.

I have never heard of a ballet term called a "twist", but if your are referring to a pirouette, I can do 7 or 8 and land in fifth, or 8 or 9 landing in fourth. It is a lot easier for guys because our center of gravity is higher making it easier to spin. Also, our Achilles tendons give us more of a push off. If you are talking about a tour en l'air that male dancers do, I can do a double.
