Economics. The cause of most wars and civic strife is jealousy over resources that other countries/groups have. If the jealous groups could just get an economic boost maybe they'd have less to worry about. Personally, going off your list, I think puppies are the answer. They put everyone in good moods. Grumpy and/or uptight people fight wars.

A virus that killed 100% of humans. I'm sure the animals and plants would get along fine.

Economics comes closest but it still doesn't come close as even neighbors have difficulty living next to each other. It takes changing people's hearts and that can't be done.
