If you miss UPS, you have to find the local UPS Customer Center (their number is usually printed on the notification slip that they leave). You can usually just have them attempt another delivery (or ask them to leave the package although if you do this and your package gets stolen, they're not liable). You can also go to the UPS Customer Center with your notification and ID to pick it up yourself. UPS and USPS are very different companies. If you meant USPS, then yes, you take the note and an ID (although sometimes the note is enough). Hope this helps.

You need the tracking number

Read your note carefully. There should be a number to call or address to look up on the internet. UPS usually means United Parcal Serives. This the Brown truck that delivers packages. USPS means United States Postal Services. This is the post office and delivery is usually done by someone walking or someone in a white vehicle with blue trim. Two different organizations. Read the NOTE AGAIN!!!
