I think it is, I still cant play golf. For me, it will probably be forever.

To enjoy it, not long. To master it, the rest of your life - and you never will. Find a driving range and a friend who has played already.......

I followed three friends around the course one Labor Day over 40 years ago. They were still learning but I decided I had enough frustration and expensive hobbies that I didn't need to add golf. I never swung a club after that.
