yes... when i first moved to my grandparents house they had tons of pictures on the family wall going back several generations with short descriptions of the people on the back... i did not need to ask because my grandfather was thinking ahead for me!

No, I've always felt least connected with the people I should be closest to. I feel like the stories behind the photographs are none of my business and that I would be prying if I asked...I would like to know though.

Yes, but I should have asked more questions. Now my parents have passed on and that history is lost forever.

I had to ask about a photo I saw of a group of women in Victorian style dresses in a garden.They looked just like me(or I like them)They were my relatives on my mother's side from France.That's all I found out.
