With the latest news out of the British Treasury on extending govt. borrowing limits, do yo foresee a weakening of the Pound compared to the US Dollar?

I'm thinking the Pound is due to fall sharply against the US Dollar, partcualrly if Obama becomes President. He is quoted to e very much in favour of a stronger US Dollar. I don't see Brown survivng the summer conference, and I see Labour out on afterward. The Tories would prefer a weaker Pound in order to stimulate exports.
