They should and there are examples of people of every race, religion and colour who have been successful in various aspects of life. Although theere are parts of the world where racism is sadly evident and moving home can be a difficult option in some cases plus the moral argument that you shouldn't have to move home because of other peoples negativity.

Unfortunately no. Yes I know we are so open and honest about tolerance and equality - so no body doesn't say they are not hiring X potential employee because they are, um, you know... So they will say over qualified, under qualified, not tall enough - anything but the truth. In all honesty most corporations prefer to hire for better jobs from within 'our kind' - Meaning if the company is ran by whites they hire whites, if it is ran by blacks, then they hire blacks. White have the upper hand when it comes to who owns the most corporations - so yes, whites are hired for the better jobs over any other race simply because its the way people actually think and reach their 'safe place' (Within the context of 'us' over 'them') more often because more corporations are operated and owned by whites. Is it improving? Yeah sure - how ever the improvements are small tiny steps stretched out over decades. 50 years ago blacks were far more stymied in the USA than they are today. Not too long ago blacks road in the back of the bus, had their own water fountains and were segregated away from whites. We have great ideals, we seem to, as a society, desire real tolerance and acceptance and merger between groups of people - we have a goal of real equality - its just gonna take a bit more time and more effort before we get there.
