At the moment of 12/15/2021, it is $4.68 a gallon for regular unleaded. But at some gas stations, a gallon of regular unleaded is $5.99, while a gallon of premium gas is $6.59.

Where I live it's sitting at $3.39 at the moment. It's dropped somewhat since Biden drained some of the oil reserves, but it's as temporary as holding your breath - it'll go back up.
