Think again. Looks like PR in negotiation to lease 2 A380 with a 2012 and 2013 deliveries.

I don't think it's a good idea to do so at the moment, as PAL just gotten out of major rehabilitation. However, in order to remain competitive, it is viable for PAL to purchase a few A380's, as Thai International Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines all have plans to dramatically increase their fleet and route services and all of them have ordered A380 aircrafts.
i think that will be possible if the main gateway of our country will be the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Pampanga. Because NAIA's facilities are not capable of handling such huge aircraft like this.
I hope there is a fast rail system that will connect the two gateways(airports).
