lulu.com is a decent site to download where you can find novels published, some free some not. I even published a novel, "Into an Eye" :) There is a 'top 100' option when you can view the best out of thousands and find new great authors. Unfortunetely, novels that were written by famous prize-winning authors are not available to download at any site that I know of. You're best option would be to download a peer-to-peer program like LimeWire PRO and find a specific book name (if it's even available). Watch out for virii.
