A soft place to fall, that doesn't resent it and in fact, teaches you at the same time as consoling you-this has to work both directions however. Also , it means to me that you have 100%, not a doubt in any neuron that this person is your love, your soul mate and not for any superficial reasons are you together-you just KNOW and GLADLY accepy that knowledge, even if in an argument, you know you are soul mates, and after awhile, even arguments are useful as tey become teaching mechanisms for both of you, again, both parties have to feel this passionately about their love.Oh, she is also my very best friend in the world, and we keep nothing, I mean NOTHING from each other. We never turn to another person for emotional reasons without discussing the situation with one another. We are always honest even if we mess up, but we find as years go on, we just don't seem to mess up too much, we basically know what each other is gonna say and sometimes even what we're thinking, weird at first, ESPish, but we get used to it. I could go on, but that's all for now. Let's just say my previous marriage was just the opposite, so simply being married and "in love" isn't the secret, believe me, LOL. Great question!
