  • sort of... I'm not so sure they defend our freedom anymore (in our visit to Iraq) , but generally I am torn between appeciating them for the very very difficult and traumatic job they do, despite low pay and shoddy after-care - and hating the organisation for what it does to families after war, the innocent civilians killed or maimed, the entire system to which it belongs, the shoddy after-care for it's soldiers, the fact that it involves guns and killing people... Its not the soldiers fault they are following orders and doing their job... it is the government for sending them places that they souldn't go, and allowing them to be hurt for very little purpose.
  • I appreciate what the individuals do. However, I believe that it is the act of war that destroys families. Full blame lays with those in command
  • yes i am, having seen the film The Kite Runner recently, it makes me realise just how torn i am, if you havnt seen it, please do, its an amazing story.
