If i am 16 and pregnant by a 19 year old, can he get in any sort of "law" trouble? ( in Michigan)

baby he could get in alot of trouble atleast in texas if theres any proff of sex he will go to jail for rape or sex with a minor

I looked it up for you and he would be guilty of statutory rape, but the conflicting piece of info I found was that the age of consent in Michigan is 16. You may be able to prevent him from being jailed if you assert the sex was consentual.

only unless your family presses charges against him or the state wants to press charges (this rarely happens) I just did a bunch or research on the topic for a documentary on teen pregnancy. It is for a major network that you know. We are looking for teens that are pregnant and we had to know all the rules about statutory rape and such.
