  • Maybe 'cos the area is populated with a lot of drips?? lol. Seriously though,it would be because of your climatic area,combined with near vicinity of topographical features such as mountains ,forests etc.which are features that cause the cooling of clouds,thus condensing the vapour into rain.
  • I don't know but we'd sure trade it for the drought-like conditions we face in southern California. You probably don't have to worry about water conservation..you are probably surrounded by lush, green vegetation. Maybe if you lived here for a year you'd change your mind and be grateful for your rain! :)
