My house. Short of visiting Atlanta, usually you can find good apple pie at smaller, mom and pop restaurants where they make their own sauces and such from scratch.

Well you would have to go to Grandma's of course for your mom has grandmas recipe but moms cut corners when they were learning to make pie at 17 you know nobodies looking

There are many famous places in California to get authentic, home cooked, unadulterated, no preservatives apple pie: Julian, Apple Hill (Camino, California), Casa De Fruita Take your pick. You can also find them at Trader Joe's.

My house. I make them every Sunday in the summer.

I always just bake one myself. Perfect flaky crust, great assortment of apples to get just the right flavors, piled real high so there is lots of fruit, not too thick and not to thin so the juices don't sog up the bottom crust.
