Could aliens and humans get along even if aliens were hundreds if not thousands of years more advanced?

As long as both, aliens and humans, have an open and honest communication, and common goals I do not see why not.

No, I think they'd eventually get disgusted with us and blow us to bloody bits.

I think so. Just be prepared for vicious sterotypes about humans and lots of race/species relations problems...probably no different from how it is now. Besides, if they were so advanced they'd know how to tolerate us (and hopefulyl not resort to eating us for brunch).

We would absolutely get along because it is us from the future evolved. When we see them here it is like a museum tour for them.

we would both be aliens in the situation so who would be the elders... if it's us earth aliens that are the more advanced ones then i would get along... if they are the elder colony and they looked just but could prove that they were more advanced i would be eager to learn new tricks!
