I'm Italian, so I'll go with Italy.

I think either would be nice. They can be rather similar, both with moutainous regions, beaches, sunny weather.

I picture a honeymoon in France being biking through wine country while Italy would be boating down a canal. Then spending nights eating delicious food and sipping fine wine. Either way sounds good to me.

Both can be very romantic. But you don't have to go far to have a romantic honeymoon. When I got married, my husband couldn't get time off from work, so we went to a hotel and spent a very romantic week-end just blocks from our home.
