UFC, Elite XC popularity is due to freak fights and the fact it's on network television and not cable.

I like them both, but UFC gets most of my attention. Have you heard of that MMA run by Chuck Norris? (I'm serious) It's called WCL. It's kind of fun to watch. It's all striking, no ground work. Also, if you're just defending and not attacking, the judges take points off. Litterally, if you aren't throwing punches the judges are taking points from you. I think like %70 of the fights end in a knockout. It's just crazy because you'll see guys land like flying spinning back kicks and stuff like that.
