  • It sounds like your bottom element needs to be replaced, it could be also that the wires are shorting out or they got 'burnt' off. The fuse panel for the oven should be on the console of your stove (where the heat regulators are for you oven and stove top burners are) there should be a door that you pull down to access the fuses. I'm thinking if it was a fuse, both your top and bottom element would not work. You will have to remove the bottom element (should get an electrician to do this) and take it to a store that carries oven parts and get one to replace it, they come in different sizes and shapes, so make sure you take the element with you, to get the right one...and have an electrician put it back in for you.
